There were no standout moments for Democratic debaters Tuesday night, according to CNN.

Moderates – former Rep. John Delaney, D-Md., former Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper and Rep. Tim Ryan, D-Ohio – mostly focused on attacking progressives Sens. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., and Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass.

And it triggred some contentious exchanges.

But CNN noted ultimately the opinions were not substantially different, and there were no memorable blows landed.

Former Texas Rep. Beto O'Rourke seemed to drift in and out of the debates, just as he did in the first round of debates in Miami, CNN reported.

Sen. Amy Klobuchar, D-Minn., made firm points, but like O'Rourke, failed to produce a singular breakout moment, CNN reported.

And Montana Gov. Steve Bullock argued about his political success in his red state but also was mostly on the periphery, CNN reported.
