The Nevada Republican who was targeted by members of his own party over his opposition to the GOP's healthcare bill said Thursday he's undecided on the party's latest version of the legislation.

Sen. Dean Heller, R-Nev., told media on Capitol Hill he plans to read the updated version of the Better Care Reconciliation Act (BCRA) over the coming days and will come to a decision on whether or not to support it.

"I'm going to take a look at the bill. We'll read it over the weekend and come up with a decision and see if there's any improvements," Heller said, The Hill reports.

Heller said last month he did not support the BCRA, the Senate GOP's altered draft of the American Health Care Act that was passed in the House. His opposition led to a Republican Super PAC with ties to President Donald Trump allocating at least $1 million for ads against him.

The ad buy was eventually canceled.

Two other Republicans announced their opposition to the bill Thursday, Sens. Susan Collins, R-Maine, and Rand Paul, R-Ky.
