There is a "possibility" that Democrat presidential nominee Joe Biden has been compromised by the Chinese Communist Party, and he needs to answer questions about that before next Tuesday's election, Rep. Dan. Crenshaw said Wednesday.
"We know for a fact, this is undisputed, that Hunter Biden has gone around the world getting sweetheart deals because of his family's name," the Texas Republican said on Fox News' "Fox and Friends." "The question is, has Joe Biden also benefited from that?"
Emails found on a laptop said to belong to Hunter Biden show that his father possibly got a 10% stake in a Chinese deal. Tony Bobulinski, a former business associate of the nominee's son, says there is "no doubt" that the former vice president is the "big guy" referred to in the email about the deal.
"Are the emails real? Did he meet with Tony Bobulinski?" said Crenshaw. "These are very simple questions, and when they're asked, they say, 'Oh, those questions have been answered.' No, they haven't. We're about to have an election and potentially elect a president compromised by the Chinese Communist Party because this energy company has direct ties to the Communist Party."
Earlier this month, Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., told CNN that the "whole smear comes from the Kremlin," which Bobulinski denied Tuesday and Crenshaw slammed Wednesday.
"This is pretty typical of Adam Schiff," Crenshaw said. "He uses his position as head of the Intel Committee to spread lies. He's been doing it for a long time. We're all used to it. I apologize to Tony Bobulinski for having to deal with it now."
Crenshaw also spoke out about Democrats' talk about packing courts with more judges, calling it "mind-blowing."
"[Democrats] believe that the judiciary is there to act as an additional legislature, to implement their outcomes that they like the most," said Crenshaw. "That's what they're doing. That's why they want to pack the courts. It's a very scary thing. They want to completely remodel our institutions just to implement their radical agenda ... it is a power grab that is unprecedented in history, and we can't give it to them."
