Sen. Cory Booker, D-N.J., is emailing petitions calling on President Donald Trump to resign, The Washington Times reports.
"The number of women who have brought sexual harassment, misconduct, or assault allegations against him has grown to 20 individuals — and I believe them," Booker said in the email, according to the newspaper.
"We all should believe them. We must hold members of both parties to the same standard, and that standard should apply all the way to the top."
And he added: "President Trump must be accountable for his actions. Please join me in calling on Mr. Trump to resign as President of the United States."
Booker had earlier called for Sen. Al Franken, D-Minn., to resign over sexual harassment allegations.
"If we are now doing the right thing in this country and we're having a comeuppance and we're holding people accountable, if Al Franken just did the right thing to resign, it's time for Donald Trump to resign, as well," Booker said earlier this month, NJ.com reported.
