Corey Lewandowski told Newsmax TV that he was turned away from a vote counting room in Philadelphia on Wednesday even though he held a court order allowing him into the room.
"Pam Bondi, the former attorney general of Florida, and I drove up to Philadelphia. We tried to gain access to the counting room in Philadelphia ... there was an armed guard that met you at the door. Then there was a series of police officers ... We tried to gain access. They said 'no,'" Lewandowski told Friday's "The Chris Salcedo Show."
"The following day, with the help of the commonwealth court, which is the equivalent of the appellate court in Pennsylvania, I had a judge's order granting me access and everybody else who wanted to go into that courtroom within six feet of all counting procedures.
''I provided that court order to the chairman of the board of elections in Philadelphia, I provided it to the sheriff of the county of Philadelphia and to the deputy superintendent for the police in the city of Philadelphia," Lewandowski said on Friday.
As for his coronavirus diagnosis, he said, "I feel great. I'm a little tired. I have a slight headache, but look, I'm going to beat this thing in Trump time; that's faster than regular time."
