Cook Political Report changed its ratings on 10 House races, nine of which favor Democrats.
The one midterm race that now favors Republicans, according to Cook, is District 18 in Pennsylvania, where Conor Lamb leads by less than 1,000 votes in the dead-red district that President Donald Trump won by 20 points in 2016.
The ratings changes are a reaction to Lamb's ostensible victory in D-18, that will get redrawn into an open seat and even more favorable Republican territory, The Hill reports.
Three of Cook's ratings changes went from "lean Republican" to "toss-up" on three Republican incumbents:
- New Jersey 7: Leonard Lance
- Pennsylvania 8: Brian Fitzpatrick
- Pennsylvania 12: Keith Rothfus
Lamb is likely to run against Rothfus in November since the seat he just won won't exist as is after the state redraws the congressional maps in the aftermath of the state's Supreme Court ruling on gerrymandering.
