Schumer Warns Trump to Stay Away From Mueller Probe

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., issued a warning to President Donald Trump on Monday not to interfere with special counsel Robert's Mueller's Russia investigation.

Schumer's comments came in a series of tweets and followed charges being filed against Paul Manafort, Trump's former campaign chairman. Manafort was charged as part of Mueller's probe.

If he does so, Congress must respond swiftly, unequivocally, and in a bipartisan way to ensure that the investigation continues.

Manafort was charged with 12 counts including conspiracy against the United States. His former business partner, Rick Gates, also was charged.
