Republican Christine Todd Whitman said any Republicans who oppose President Donald Trump but stay silent "are complicit."
Whitman, a former New Jersey governor who also served as administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency during the presidency of George W. Bush, tweeted her displeasure at Trump Monday.
".@realDonaldTrump's irresponsibility is shocking. Leaving 1 of the best hospitals, having received drugs the average person doesn't have access to, going home w/ full medical staff, he has the audacity to say don't fear #COVID19 & he feels better than ever? THIS is our President?!" Whitman tweeted.
She added later, ".@realdonaldtrump - If only those 209,000 people who died from it had not let #COVID19 dominate their lives. How can you speak that way when people's lives have been lost?"
Whitman closed the thought by writing, "I will not stand for #Republicans sharing 'behind closed doors' their disagreement with this administration anymore. Speak up publicly or you are complicit. @RsAndIs4Biden"
