Herman Cain, the former CEO of Godfather’s Pizza who is seeking the GOP nomination for president in 2012, remains tight-lipped about the origins of his new economic plan.

Cain refused to tell “Fox News Sunday” host Chris Wallace who helped author the document.
“Trust me,” Cain told Wallace. “It’s a couple of people you would know very well.”
Cain named his proposal the “999 Plan” because it would impose a 9-percent tax rate on business profits and personal incomes. He wants to gut the current tax code.
Cain wants to protect the identity of those who helped him write the plan because they indicated they want confidentiality, Politico reported.
