The ties between President Barack Obama and billionaire investment legend Warren Buffett deepen. Buffett will attend two Obama fundraisers in the coming weeks,
The Hill reports.

This month, the Berkshire Hathaway CEO will appear at a Democratic National Committee event in New York.
Then on Oct. 27, Buffett will go to a $38,500-a-ticket event in a Chicago suburb that will include major donors in the area, such as former Obama campaign national finance Chairwoman Penny Pritzker and John Rogers, another early Obama campaign backer.
Buffett has played a starring role in Obama’s effort to raise taxes on the wealthy. The investor has been touting the idea to various media outlets for months, and Obama has anointed his tax increase proposal as the "Buffett Rule."
