President Donald Trump is keenly aware that keeping Republican majorities in Congress is vital to his #MAGA platform, and he is dialed in on making sure it happens, Brad Parscale wrote in a column for the Washington Examiner.
Parscale, Trump's 2020 campaign manager, said the president's fundraising prowess and message are potent enough to bring home victories "big league" for Republican incumbents.
Plus, the direct contributions to other GOP fundraising arms and the candidates themselves are well underway, Parscale writes.
"This is just the first round of a massive effort to keep Congress red in November, as well as a testament to President Trump’s commitment to protect and expand GOP majorities in the House and Senate this year," Parscale wrote.
Trump has already appeared at rallies in eight key battleground states on behalf of GOP incumbents and has two more slated for next week in Florida and Pennsylvania, Parscale writes.
"Thanks to Trump’s strong leadership and dedication to helping Republican candidates, the Democrats’ much-hyped 'blue wave' will never reach the shores of our American revival," Parscale writes.
"With President Trump’s backing and financial help, and with the vital support of the millions of voters who believe in the America First agenda, we will ensure that we maintain our GOP majorities in the House and Senate," Parscale writes.
"We are not done Making America Great Again, and we need a big GOP victory in the fall to finish the job."
