Bill Barr Tests Negative for Coronavirus

Attorney General Bill Barr has tested negative for COVID-19.

NBC News said a Barr spokesman announced the test result on Friday. It came after President Donald Trump and first lady Melania Trump had tested positive for the virus and were showing mild symptoms.

The network news reported that Barr had been with the president at the White House on Saturday for a reception for Judge Amy Coney Barrett, Trump’s nominee for the Supreme Court.

The Barr spokesman said the attorney general had not been experiencing symptoms but was tested out of an abundance of caution.
