Former Texas Rep. Beto O'Rourke said the nation only has 10 years to "get this right" on climate change.
At the Democratic presidential primary debate on Tuesday night hosted by CNN, O'Rourke said, "I listen to scientists on this, and they are very clear."
"We don't have more than 10 years to get this right, and we won't meet that challenge with half steps or half measures or only half the country. We've got to bring everyone in," he said.
In April, he had a more expansive timeline, releasing a $5 trillion climate plan that called for net-zero carbon emissions by 2050, The Hill reported.
