Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., said Thursday that his "Medicare for All" plan will provide Americans with "comprehensive care that will be there for a lifetime."

"You will no longer have any premiums," Sanders told the Presidential Town Hall sponsored by Newsmax and the League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) at the Iowa Events Center in Des Moines, Iowa. "No longer have any copayments.

"No longer any deductibles and out of pocket expenses," he said. "You will no longer be spending more than $200 a year for the prescription drugs that you need."
