Former Obama Adviser References Death of Pence, Ryan, McConnell

A former Obama administration adviser referenced the death of Vice President Mike Pence, House Speaker Paul Ryan, and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell in a tweet Thursday.

Ben Rhodes, who worked under former President Barack Obama as a deputy national security advisor, posted this tweet shortly after midnight Thursday:

He was responding to Daniel Pfeiffer, another Obama White House adviser, who referenced a future indictment of President Donald Trump based on a photo that was posted to Trump's Instagram account:

Rhodes' tweet garnered a huge response, with more than 4,000 messages to the tweet being posted as of Thursday afternoon. Among the respondents was House Majority Whip Steve Scalise:
