Republican presidential candidate and Minnesota Rep.
Michele Bachmann apparently finds it difficult to balance her congressional duties with her presidential campaign. She has skipped more than 35 percent of House votes since officially beginning her presidential bid June 27,
The Hill reports.

That total dwarfs the amount of votes missed by the other two GOP House members seeking the White House – Ron Paul of Texas and Thaddeus McCotter of Michigan.
Bachmann, the House Tea Party Caucus chairwoman who has established herself as a solid No. 2 in polls behind front-runner Mitt Romney, has missed 50 of 135 votes since formally initiating her White House quest. That’s a 37 percent miss rate.
By contrast Paul has an 8 percent miss rate – skipping 25 of 307 votes since the official start of his campaign – and McCotter has a 10 percent miss rate – having been absent for 13 of 135 votes.
