Arizona Democratic Rep. Kyrsten Sinema has a 1-point edge over rival GOP Rep. Martha McSally in the final days before a Senate toss-up race to fill retiring GOP Sen. Jeff Flake’s seat.

In a Real Clear Politics averaging of polls, Sinema has 47.9 percent support compared with McSally’s 46.9 percent; McSally had been up as much as 7 points last month in the RCP tally.

Sinema got a boost last week when a Green Party candidate running in the race dropped out and endorsed her candidacy.

Patriotism became a key issue in the McSally-Sinema race — with both appearing on Saturday at Arizona State University’s homecoming football game in Tempe Ariz. — ahead of Tuesday’s election, The Blaze noted.
