Poll: 48 Percent Approve of Trump's Job Performance

Forty-eight percent of American voters approve of President Donald Trump's job performance, while 52 percent disapprove, the Rasmussen Reports daily presidential tracking poll reveals.

Here is how Trump's rating compares to Rasmussen's previous daily tracking polls:

• The rating is the highest since March 21st when 50 percent of those surveyed approved of his job performance.
• His highest mark came on Jan. 26 when he recorded a 59 percent approval rating.
• His lowest mark was recorded on April 3 when he received a 42 percent approval rating.

The results were collected via telephone surveys of 500 likely voters. The margin of sampling error for the full sample of 1,500 likely voters is +/- 2.5 percentage points.
