President Donald Trump suggested Friday that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is proposing legislation involving the 25th Amendment as a way to “replace Joe Biden with Kamala Harris" should Biden win the presidential election.

"Crazy Nancy Pelosi is looking at the 25th Amendment in order to replace Joe Biden with Kamala Harris," Trump tweeted Friday. "The Dems want that to happen fast because Sleepy Joe is out of it!!!"

Trump’s tweet comes after Pelosi announced a bill that would create a bipartisan commission that would be involved with the transfer of power procedures outlined under the 25th Amendment should a president become incapacitated.

Pelosi has claimed the bill has nothing to do with the president’s coronavirus diagnosis even though she said the president was “in an altered state” from his coronavirus treatment.

Trump isn’t the only one who hit back at the legislative proposal. White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany claimed it’s Pelosi who is unfit for office.

She tweeted out a television interview where Pelosi answered a question about potentially impeaching Trump again with: "Good morning, Sunday morning."

"The only one who needs the 25th Amendment is Nancy Pelosi herself," McEnany wrote.

"Stop projecting, Nancy!" she added.
