The United States' deal with Iran on nuclear weapons is being greeted with skepticism all over the world, says James Carafano, vice president of foreign and defense policy studies at the Heritage Foundation.
"There's uniform skepticism across a wide range of groups . . . Just on a cursory analysis, people are shaking their heads," Carafano told "The Steve Malzberg Show" on Newsmax TV.
"Wait until they really kind of unpack this thing. They're really going to start to get worried," he said Tuesday.

Carafano said the deal had been a forgone conclusion for a long time.
"If you didn't see this one coming a year ago, then you are just an idiot. Anyone who was watching this and watching the Iranian administration and this administration . . . you didn't have to be Nostradamus to see this one coming. I mean, seriously."
The chief reason, he says, is that the Iranians had a "trump card" in the Middle East.
"Everything was going horrible for [President Barack] Obama in the Middle East. Here was a chance to look like you're earning your Nobel Prize . . . You want to get out of Afghanistan? We have influence in Afghanistan. We'll help you get out . . . Syria's a big mess for you. We'll help you there," Carafano said.
"So, this is a deal that, seriously, people who follow this closely who I've been talking to for months said this is coming. It's like winter. You know it's going to get cold."
