GOP presidential front-runner Donald Trump said he won't stop criticizing radical Islamists just because they might use his words in recruitment videos.
Trump said Sunday on
"Fox & Friends" that as the front-runner, he isn't surprised he is being used in such a video.
"We're not supposed to speak about the enemy because if we do, we're going to be in propaganda," Trump said. "Everybody knows anybody is going to be in the propaganda."
Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton said in a debate last month that Trump has become the Islamic State's (ISIS) "best recruiter" because video of him calling for a moratorium on Muslim immigration is being shown.
While fact-checkers at the time said no such videos showing Trump were known, the al-Qaida affiliate al-Shabab did use Trump's words
in a video last week.
Trump pointed out that Clinton's own husband, former President Bill Clinton, did appear in a previous ISIS propaganda video where he is labeled a "degenerate if you look at what they talk about, all of his scandals," Trump said. "She doesn't mention that."
Turning to President Barack
Obama's plan to enact an executive action on gun control this week, Trump said he would rescind it immediately upon taking office.
Though Trump has been critical of Congress, he said he will have no trouble negotiating with them.
Obama, Trump said, doesn't do that because he spends too much time playing golf.
"It's hard to do that when you're playing golf all day long," he said, "like he's on the PGA Tour.
Asked whether Obama is a good golfer, Trump said, "I've seen his swing. It looks OK. … I don't want to knock his golf game. I would like to play him, however, for the presidency."
