Analyst Tobin Smith: Soaring Stock Market Flirts With 'Correction'

With investors flocking to big, established companies at the expense of small-cap stocks, the market's latest surge rests on a historically shaky foundation, financial analyst Tobin Smith told Newsmax TV on Tuesday.

If past patterns hold, "the market is setting itself up for a correction for everybody," Smith, founder and chief research officer of NBT Equities Research, told "America's Forum" host J.D. Hayworth. Smith said the ongoing "flight to safety," coupled with other factors, means the market bears close watching for a downturn.
