Donald Trump should be attacking Hillary Clinton on her family foundation, "but you've got to respond to the bigotry charges," Rep. Ted Yoho told Newsmax TV on Friday.
"This goes back to corrupt politics from 100 years ago that we saw in the Theodore Roosevelt era," the Florida Republican told "Newsmax Prime" host J.D. Hayworth in an interview.
"This is the same stuff going on, but you've got to respond to the bigotry charges," he said. "She throws out there that Donald Trump's the head of the racist white Republican Party or the alt-party.
"I think it's nonsense, but I think he has to respond to this — and I don't think he's off on it at all."
