Television director and producer Paul Tilsley on Tuesday told Newsmax TV that South African President Jacob Zuma will address the nation Wednesday following orders from South Africa's ruling party he step down.
"Zuma said he will respond [Wednesday]," Tilsley told host "Newsmax Now" Kirsten Haglund. "He's so resilient – Zuma's known here as the Teflon president – nothing sticks to him. So don't be surprised if his response [Wednesday] is he still doesn't intend to leave office for several months."

Leading members of the African National Congress on Tuesday ordered Zuma to step down but gave him no firm deadline to go, saying his continued presence could "erode the renewed hope and confidence among South Africans."
Zuma, who has been dogged by corruption scandals and survived opposition parties' attempts to oust him, defied the demand.
"This is all causing national chaos," Tilsley said. "Every minister has canceled every public appearance in the last week, parliament is like a graveyard at midnight.
". . . The people have had enough."
