Move over Politico, there's a new kid in town.

Founded 12 years ago by Justin Sayfie, senior policy adviser to former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, The Sayfie Review now covers New York, California and Texas.

The new websites are: They will each continuously curate political and public policy news items from dozens of state political news sources.

Those sources include major news outlets, top political blogs, editorial boards, featured columnists and influential Twitter users.

"If you have an iPhone, an android device or an iPad, we have an specially designed app that will give you the political news in New York, the latest political news in California and the latest political news in Texas all at your fingerprints on your mobile device," Sayfie said.

"Not only that, but we're making it easy for you to share those news items in your social networks and through email right on your mobile device. That's a big benefit because so many people are consuming news now on their mobile devices."

In a cheeky shot at its competition, The Sayfie Review trumpeted the news on its original website SayfieReview.com by teasing:

"Politicos in New York, California or Texas who need the latest state political news 24/7 are in luck: Sayfie Review websites, iPhone apps, iPad apps and Android apps are launching in these three mega-states today — and they’re all FREE."

"We've got over 70 news sources in the state of New York, the same for California and the same for Texas," Sayfie said.

"We're constantly pulling information, pulling news, we're scanning all those sites on a 24/7 basis looking for anything having to do with city politics. We're not just looking at the big papers, but anywhere we can find anything having to do with politics in any of these states.

"We want to be comprehensive, but at the same time, we're not making it so complicated that it's hard to find the information. We're making it easy to read and easy to scan all the information in one simple place."

Sayfie said the simplicity of using his website is key.

"We're all overwhelmed with the amount of information on a daily basis between email, the internet, text messages, cell phone calls, everything – all the different forms of communication that exist now," he said.

"It was important to try to make it easy, try to make it simple, put all that information about political news in each state on one site, one app for your iPhone, iPad or android device and not make it complicated.

"There's just too much information out there. What I found in Florida after publishing this site for 12 years is, people just love being able to go to one app or one site and getting all their news easily at the same time."
