Daniel Pipes: Obama Comes From 'Anti-American' Wing of Democratic Party

By    |   Tuesday, 26 November 2013 05:29 PM EST

Daniel Pipes, president of the Middle East Forum, says the Iran nuclear arms agreement is a "dangerous" one thoughtlessly hammered out by an administration overly eager to make a deal.

"The Obama administration is so eager, so urgent for a deal that it really doesn't pay attention to what the realities are. It is a very sad day and a very dangerous one," Pipes told "The Steve Malzberg Show" on Newsmax TV.

Story continues below video.

"We've all been watching [President] Barack Obama now for some years and he comes from the left wing of the Democratic Party.

"To put it differently, he comes from the anti-American wing of the Democratic Party that sees the United States as a maligned force in the world."
