Congress, and the American people deserve answer about what happened to two Turkish men who admitted to being part of a Marxist terror group but were set free inside the United States, Rep. Peter King, a New York Republican, said Wednesday on
Newsmax TV's “America’s Forum.”
“The American people are entitled to know why we can't keep better track of known terrorists when we have a hard enough time trying to find out who the terrorists are, if we do find out who they are, we should certainly be able to at least keep them under surveillance,” said King.

Earlier this year, Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson said
four men apprehended at the U.S.-Mexico border in September, who claimed to be affiliated with the Revolutionary People's Liberation Party/Front, would be deported.
But on Tuesday, Johnson testified that only two of the men remain in U.S. custody. The other two were released into the United States and have since fled to Canada, where they are seeking asylum.
“If two of them are able to get out of court, you know, have the court release them, and then be able to make it across the border to Canada without us monitoring them, it's a real indictment,” King said.
“And then also, what are we doing to get them back? Canada's an ally. We should be pressuring … not even pressuring, but requesting and working with the Canadian government to get them back. There's a lot of unexplained questions there, unexplained facts that Jeh Johnson should come forward with.”
