The media is "in the bag for Hillary Clinton" and Clinton's ability to skirt the law will have future violators of classified information leaks clamoring for the favorable treatment she has received from the Justice Department, former congressman Pete Hoekstra, R-Mich., told Newsmax TV.
"I read a 'USA Today' paper yesterday: I think the whole front section was bashing Donald Trump – nothing about Hillary Clinton," Hoekstra told host J.D. Hayworth on Tuesday's "Newsmax Prime." "The mainstream media, the alphabet networks, they are all in the bag for Hillary Clinton. We no longer have a free, objective press in the United States."

Hoekstra, author of "Architects of Disaster: The Destruction of Libya" published by The Calamo Press, said if anyone related to his time as House Intelligence Committee Chairman would have done the things Mrs. Clinton has, they "would have lost their clearances," "lost their jobs," and would have been "criminally prosecuted."
"Hillary Clinton has crossed this line so frequently," Hoekstra told Hayworth.
". . . She will be an exception. And I can tell you, moving forward, if people are accused of violating classified information, they will say, ‘I want the people who investigated Hillary Clinton investigating me,’ and the person who decided not to charge Hillary, ‘I want the same standards applied to me.’"
