Hillary Clinton facilitated attacks by Donald Trump on her husband's indiscretions because she "was something of an enabler in the way she defended her husband against all these charges by all these various women," conservative commentator Pat Buchanan told
Newsmax TV on Wednesday.
"If Hillary Clinton is going to attack Trump for some of his comments, then that certainly opens the door," Buchanan, the three-time presidential candidate, told "The Steve Malzberg Show" in an interview.

"Hillary Rodham Clinton is probably going to back away from this approach — because there's no question about it, whether you agree or disagree with the Donald, he's got a right to make that case and he has certainly indicated a propensity to go right after somebody than when they come after him."

Hillary Clinton also is not getting much support against Trump's attacks on the former president, he said.
"On this one, you're going to get an awful lot of people saying that it is perfectly valid to go after Bill Clinton and Hillary's role in that — in basically abetting that," Buchanan told Malzberg. "She moved right behind her husband rather than the women."
