Howie Carr: Shaheen Leads Brown by 3 Points in New Hampshire

By    |   Monday, 03 November 2014 10:39 AM EST

New Hampshire Democrat Sen. Jeanne Shaheen is ahead of Republican challenger Scott Brown in two of the state's communities, according to a new Boston Herald bellwether poll, Howie Carr, a columnist from the paper and a radio talk show host told Newsmax TV Monday.

The polls show Shaheen ahead by 47 to 44 percentage points in Manchester and 44 points to 41 in Epping, Carr told "America's Forum" host J.D. Hayworth.

In addition, Carr told Hayworth that a debate last week between Brown and Shaheen may have turned some voters against Brown after a Boston Globe reporter was "taking Brown to task" to the point an apology was needed after the debate.

The apology was only on the web feed after the debate, and Carr said many voters likely only saw what was on television.
