Award-winning New York Times sportswriter George Vecsey says
Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling is a "major-league creep" who must be tossed out of the National Basketball Association.
"He still owns the team, but we are telling him to find a way to get out of this business, we don't want him, and he must go away," Vecsey told "The Steve Malzberg Show" on Newsmax TV.

In a recorded phone conversation obtained and released by TMZ.com, Sterling allegedly told his girlfriend he didn't want her to bring black people to his games after she posted a photo of herself with Hall-of-Famer Magic Johnson on Instagram.
"It makes my skin crawl to hear that voice . . . the patronizing air, the racist attitude," Vecsey said.
"I mean, he's more of a creep when you hear it than when you read it . . . I can only assume that [the NBA is] going to have some kind of action tomorrow, some kind of suspension.''
Vecsey said Sterling has been "known for decades to be just a major-league creep . . . I've known it, and I'm not an insider."
