Pompeo, a Kansas Republican, is a member of the House Select Committee on Benghazi.
"They have dragged their feet in every turn trying to hide important facts from the American people and our effort to figure out how four Americans were killed now almost four years ago in Benghazi, Libya," he said.
Pompeo said the committee is slated to issue its report on the Benghazi attacks within 30 days, "as long as we get cooperation from the folks who have to clear our report for national security secrets but we're optimistic that will happen."
Hillary Clinton, the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee, was the Secretary of State at the time of the Benghazi attacks and
has come under fire for how she handled the situation in Libya.
