Former trade adviser to the Trump administration, Peter Navarro, told Newsmax he expects President Joe Biden to be replaced after the primaries.
"Eric, I don't believe he'll be the nominee," Navarro told"Eric Bolling: The Balance" on Tuesday.
"I think he'll go through the primaries. It'll be uncontested in the primaries. But then they'll quietly put somebody else in there, whether it's a Gavin or Michelle or somebody else, as a way of avoiding Michelle or Gavin Newsom for having to take radical left policies out on the campaign primary trail. That's the scenario I see."
While messages of Biden running for reelection have been mixed and with other reports waging concern about his age, California Gov. Gavin Newsom, who has made no formal declarations of running, debated Republican presidential candidate Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis in late November.
