Tea Party's Dozier: Immigration Crisis Hurts Black Americans

By    |   Wednesday, 09 July 2014 03:20 PM EDT

The current immigration crisis is robbing resources from black Americans and others who are struggling, says Michael Dozier, TeaParty.org spokesman.

"Recently I spoke to a couple of [black Americans] who are in the inner city in Boston, Mass., and they were not aware of what was going on," Dozier explained on "America's Forum" on Newsmax TV.

Dozier explained that they "were waiting . . . for government housing for two years."

"Now, these illegal immigrants that are being shipped into Massachusetts, they leapfrogged them," he said. "So, now they're on the bottom of the list once again."

"This is what's happening in our country right now," he contends. "These illegals are coming in and they're taking not just from black people but all people, and they're taking their resources from them."

Dozier says black Americans are worse off under President Barack Obama.

"You look at black America right now," he said. "Look at all minorities, but black America, our unemployment rate is double the national number."

"Not only that . . . 50 percent of black males do not have an education over high school," Dozier added.

He said that it will take grassroots organizations to educate the black community and others "on what is actually going on."
