Former President Donald Trump has all the momentum entering Tuesday's New Hampshire Republican primary and "voters want him back because they're hurting with inflation," pollsters Jim McLaughlin and John McLaughlin said Tuesday on Newsmax.
"When you look at these polls right now, what's so important, especially in a Republican primary is momentum," Jim McLaughlin said. "And if you saw, it wasn't that long ago, a lot of these public polls that were coming out, Donald Trump wasn't at 50% of the vote. Now, you're showing a poll where he's at 60%."
The pollster also told Newsmax that Iowa exit polls showed Nikki Haley only got about 15% of the Republican vote and relied heavily on Democrats and independents to boost her support.
"So, it's a real bad strategy to try to win a Republican primary and not rely on Republicans," Jim McLaughlin said.
John McLaughlin echoed his brother's sentiment on chances for Haley.
"She's relying on bringing Biden independents into a Republican primary. Invading it," he said.
John McLaughlin dismissed Haley's early win in Dixville Notch on Tuesday.
"Considering they voted for John Kasich and Bernie Sanders in the past, they don't have a great track record," he said.
John McLaughlin added that Haley, former South Carolina governor, wasn't fairing much better in her home state, which is up next after New Hampshire.
"The most embarrassing thing is you look at these polls in South Carolina, she's down by 20 to 30 points," he said.
Jim McLaughlin looked even further ahead to Nevada, saying Trump is polling between 70 and 80 percent there.
