With three new entrants into the Republican presidential field this week, Tea Party Patriots co-founder Jenny Beth Martin gave her thoughts to
Newsmax TV on Monday about how each would fare with the tea party wing.
"Any of them are going to be better than what we will get with Hillary Clinton," Martin said on "Newsmax Prime."
"She is from the past, and it's time for someone who's going to be looking towards the future."

If former
Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly Fiorina wins the nomination, it will allow for a focus on economic issues, which are important to the tea party, Martin told host J.D. Hayworth. Americans must elect candidates willing to do what it takes to balance the federal budget and begin paying down the debt, she said.
"Fiorina will work on this," Martin told Newsmax TV.
Fiorina made her official announcement via the Internet on Monday. Retired pediatric neurosurgeon
Ben Carson made his official announcement in his hometown, Detroit.
Martin said Carson's nonpolitical experience resonates with the grass roots. He can focus on Obamacare and giving people more healthcare freedom, she said.
"He understands the impact of that law, and how large the law is and the impact it has on the doctor-patient relationship better than probably any other candidate who will be in the field," Martin told Newsmax TV.
Former Arkansas governor and former Fox News host Mike Huckabee plans to officially announce on Tuesday.
Martin said it will be interesting to see how Huckabee re-enters the political field after being out for eight years.
"He certainly is well-known because of the television program he's done and the fact that he ran before," Martin said. "It will be interesting to see how his message resonates as he transitions back into the political spectrum."
