The United States is inadvertently funding both sides of the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, according to retired U.S. Army Lt. Col. Anthony Shaffer, saying, "We're paying for all sides of this."
Shaffer was referring to the Biden administration giving over $150 million to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNWRA), which has subsequently been accused of having 12 of its members participate in the Oct. 7 attacks in Israel.
Speaking to guest host Lidia Curanaj on Newsmax's "The Chris Salcedo Show," the president of Project Sentinel blasted Biden saying his administration's financial support helped facilitate UNWRA's activity.
"We contributed to the pain, heartache and taking of hostages. These 12 individuals need to not only be fired but brought up on charges," he said.
As the war in Gaza continues, Israel faces accusations from the International Court of Justice (ICJ) saying that "Israel must do more to prevent genocidal acts by its forces."
Brig. Gen. Blaine Holt took issue with the ICJ ruling telling Curanaj, "It does more to dilute the credibility of these nonsense globalist organizations that frankly have absolutely lost their charter."
The U.S. deputy military representative to NATO noted he's skeptical of any accusation coming out of the ICJ since it is being provided data from the Ministry of Health from Hamas and worked hand in hand with UNWRA saying, "They found UN aid bags in those tunnels."
Shaffer agreed that more needed to be done to account for where U.S. money is going. "We need to examine all the funding we're giving to groups which support terror like Hamas and others that are there." He concluded, "Joe [Biden] is ultimately purveyor of resources to the bad guys."
