Donald Trump's "grunt work" in the last two weeks of the election proved to voters that "he wanted to win," political commentator Michael Reagan told Newsmax TV on Tuesday.
"This last two weeks that Trump put in, the work that he put in, the grunt work that he needed to do, he did," the eldest son of former President Ronald Reagan told host J.D. Hayworth on the Newsmax TV "America Votes 2016" election special.

"If he wins, that is probably what put him across the finish line — was that grunt work.
"People were able to see how much he now wanted to win, because that was always a question: Did he really want to win?
"But I think the last two weeks, he proved: damn it, I want to win."
