Dinesh D'Souza's new documentary about Hillary Clinton may be winning at the box office, but "mysteriously, we haven’t heard a word about this movie from the RNC," he told Newsmax TV on Tuesday.
"There are great vulnerabilities with Hillary," D'Souza told "The Steve Malzberg Show" in an interview. "Even the Democrats feel dirty about bringing the Clintons, this Bonnie-and-Clyde duo, back into the White House."
D'Souza's film — "Hillary’s America: The Secret History of the Democratic Party" — is the highest-grossing documentary so far this year in the United States, with a box-office tally of more than $11.2 million as of Monday.
It was released on July 3. The film ranks No. 8 among political documentaries — and is 23rd among the overall category.
His 2013 documentary about President Barack Obama — "2016: Obama's America" — earned $33 million.

Still, D'Souza told Malzberg that he has not heard from the Republican National Committee about his film.
"Trump has a great opening here. The fact that he’s an outsider can work to his advantage, but I don’t understand — and I, frankly, don’t get the Republican Party.
"I don’t understand why they would not recognize that we have made a kind of messaging that they can’t make, that they don’t know how to make — and yet, in the public debate here, we are pressing our case against the Democrats.
"They’re flailing," D'Souza added, referring to Clinton's party. "They can’t find one fact in the movie or in the book that they could use against us.
"They can’t find one thing wrong with this film, and so all they do is hurl empty rhetoric.
"This is an opportunity for the Republicans," D'Souza said, "if they will be willing to take it.”
