Dealing with Hillary and Bill Clinton is like having to kowtow to Don Corleone in the "The Godfather," Dinesh D'Souza, director of the acclaimed documentary "Hillary's America: The Secret History of the Democratic Party" tells Newsmax TV.
"I'm an immigrant and I came to America because I believe that the American dream is represented by ladders of opportunity. A chance for the ordinary guy with $500 in his pocket, as I had, to improve his life," D'Souza said Monday on "The Steve Malzberg Show."
"Now in Hillary's America, the ladders of opportunity are transformed. Essentially the way you move up in Hillary's America is you stand in a very, very long line and you basically kiss the ring of each of the Clintons."

Referring to the feared mob boss played by Marlon Brando in the Francis Ford Coppola's Oscar-winning 1972 drama, D'Souza said, "It's like the opening scene of 'The Godfather' when the undertaker has to basically debase himself in front of the godfather to get favors. That's Hillary's America, it's a gangsterized America and not one that I think we want to live in."
But D'Souza said ongoing leaks of emails and documents involving the Clintons show their collusion with the media and differing public and private relationships with Wall Street.
"[There's] a willingness to bend the law when it suits your purpose, selling foreign policy for money and for grants to the Clinton Foundation. This is all a picture of something that you expect in [Zimbabwe President Robert] Mugabe, you'd expect it in Hugo Chavez's Venezuela. We don't want to live in a country run by gangs, including the Clinton gang," D'Souza said.
"We live in a world that's deformed by sin and that means we are flawed and it means our candidates are likely to be flawed … We're choosing between two candidates and one of them is going to be president. If you want to stop Hillary and the Democrats, there's only one way to do that and that's vote Trump and the Republicans.
"The people who are sitting there and pining for some fictional third way are actually simply whistling in the dark.
D'Souza's movie, "Hillary's America," which is rated PG-13 for some violence, thematic elements and smoking, and is now available on DVD.
