Hillary Clinton's trashing of Donald Trump outside his Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas was a good campaign stunt by the former secretary of state, veteran political analyst Dick Morris said on
Newsmax TV.
"It was a good move. It's an attempt to get out ahead of the debate," Morris, a former Clinton family confidante, said Tuesday on "Newsmax Prime" with J.D. Hayworth and Miranda Khan.

Clinton, who is in Las Vegas for the first Democratic presidential debate, rallied with hundreds of members of the Culinary Workers Union, which wants to unionize the Trump property.
She told the cheering crowd: "Some people think Trump is entertaining, but it is not entertaining to insult immigrants and women."
Morris, a Newsmax contributor, said that while "all eyes will be on Hillary" during the debate, which is being televised on CNN, the "really important performance" will be given by her challenger, Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont.
"This will be the first time most Americans have had the opportunity to watch Sanders and to come to a conclusion about him. The same is true about [former Maryland Gov. Martin] O'Malley, [former Sen. Jim] Webb and [former Rhode Island Gov. Lincoln] Chafee," Morris said.
"You're going to get a lot of Democrats who've said to themselves 'you know I'm not happy about the email thing, I'm not happy about Hillary, I don't trust her, I'm worried about the poll numbers that show her losing to the Republicans but who else have we got?'"
"And then when they see four other very articulate, very good men speaking, they might say 'well maybe I'm going to vote for one of them.'''
