Jeb Bush quitting the Republican presidential race Saturday after the South Carolina primary means "the end of the road for the Bush dynasty," presidential historian Craig Shirley told
Newsmax TV.
"There was never a rationale or anything motivating for Jeb Bush other than he was a Bush," Shirley, biographer of former President Ronald Reagan, told host J.D. Hayworth on the "Newsmax TV 2016 South Carolina Primary Special" in an interview. "His father was president and his brother was president.
"Other than that, it's probably the end of the road for the Bush dynasty."
