Hispanic Post Chief: Obama Has No Solution for Border Crisis

Friday, 11 July 2014 07:59 PM EDT

President Barack Obama has been flip-flopping on how to deal with the nation's mushrooming border crisis — and it may be a ploy to smear the right, according to Clara Del Villar, founder and president of the Hispanic Post.

"If you listen to the president, he talks about encouraging deportation of the children because of the dangerous road they traveled and actually their life here will not necessarily be better than where they came from,'' Del Villar said Friday on "The Steve Malzberg Show" on Newsmax TV.

"Then the next day, he changes his mind and the deportation is not a part of the dialog. So every day seems to be a new way of treating this issue.

"It's meant to make conservatives, Republicans, look like the bad guys in this whole situation, and there's no resolution in sight from what I can see from this administration.''

Del Villar said Obama should be reaching out to the presidents of the Central American countries, whose children are illegally crossing over the U.S.-Mexican border by the thousands.
