President Barack Obama's astounding statement that he heard the voices of Americans who didn't vote in the midterms is proof he doesn't believe in the nation's electoral system, Washington Times columnist Charles Hurt says.
"That to me is far and away the scariest thing I've ever heard, because what it means is, so, he heard the people that voted but he also heard this much larger group of people who didn't vote and somehow that supersedes the outcome of an election?" Hurt said Wednesday on "The Steve Malzberg Show" on
Newsmax TV.
"So, what he's saying is elections don't matter? What matters is what voices he hears? And we don't know who these voices are. I don't know what it means, but clearly it means he doesn't believe in the supremacy of the outcome of an actual election, unless of course he wins."
