"The Wolf of Wall Street" star Leonardo DiCaprio's opinion of his character didn't sit well with former businessman Herman Cain, who called DiCaprio's words "the vilification of success."
DiCaprio told CNN that the attitude of his character is directly attributed to the destruction of the economy.

"You can attribute this attitude to this darker side of human nature, to everything that has gone wrong in society really," DiCaprio said.
But Cain told Fox News Channel's "
Your World with Neil Cavuto" on Thursday that "Hollywood types" are the first to bash the rich – even though they are rich themselves.
"And it's quite simply because they are out of touch with what's really destroying this country," Cain said. "And what's really destroying this country is lack of opportunity for people because of this lousy economy and this lousy administration in Washington, D.C."
Cain also addressed British actor Russell Brand, who attacked capitalism in a BBC interview recently.
"There are a lot of people who would like for everybody in the United States of America to be exactly the same: poor," Cain said.
Businesses aren't worried today about maximizing profits for stockholders, he said, they are worried about survival.
