Actor Stephen Baldwin said Friday that Hollywood will only "alienate” audiences by politicizing the movie industry, and predicts in 2021, Tinseltown will start producing more conservative content.
In an interview on Newsmax TV’s “Greg Kelly Reports,” Baldwin — whose brother Alec famously has mocked President Donald Trump in “Saturday Night Live” skits — predicted Americans are coming to recognize the folly of liberal politics.
“As Hollywood continues to politicize all of those types of things, they continue to alienate at the box office,” he said, adding, “We're going to see in 2021 Hollywood and all the networks turn around and start creating more conservative content, more things to cross over and reach over the aisle.”
Baldwin said he’s confident that Hollywood, Wall Street and “all Americans” are starting to “see the truth” about “what’s going on underneath it all” amid current unrest over racial injustice.
“Not only Hollywood but I think Wall Street and all Americans now are starting to see the truth and the reality of what's going on honestly underneath it all,” he said.
“All this gibberish out there and talk of polls and who's leading … that's what they said in 2016” about Hillary Clinton beating Trump, he said.
“I think what we're seeing now is all a lot of revelation from voters about what the truth is and the great job that President Trump is doing.”
“There’s many conservatives in Hollywood,” he said.
