The flu-like coronavirus that emerged in Wuhan, China has prompted the declaration of a worldwide health emergency. But as rapidly as the disease has spread, misinformation about it has spread even faster.

Around the world, rumors are beginning to tout various herbal concoctions to help ward off the virus' effects. Doctors warn there is little or no scientific basis to any of them, and some nostrums could even be harmful.
