Democratic presidential hopeful Marianne Williamson was heard on a hot microphone saying how much nicer conservatives are to her than those on the left.
Williamson’s comments were made after an interview last week on Sinclair’s "America This Week" and were detailed in a report by Mediaite.
“What does it say that Fox News is nicer to me than the lefties are?” she said, apparently unaware the microphone was still on. “What does it say that the conservatives are nicer to me? It’s such a bizarre world.”
She also said, “I didn’t think the left was as mean as the right, they are.”
Williamson later explained her comments, saying: “It’s not a left or right issue. It’s tough out there. Many people on the left are very kind to me. I’m running for president. It’s not a walk in the park.”
