Andrew Weissmann, who served as a top prosecutor on Robert Mueller’s team, has landed a book deal, according to two news outlets.
The New York Times reported Weissmann’s book will “explore his work on the special counsel’s inquiry.” It attributed the information to a publishing executive with knowledge of the deal.
The executive told the newspaper the book has been acquired by Random House. A source also told CNN that Random House was the winning bidder for the book.
The Times said it is unclear how much detail Weissmann will provide about the inner workings of the probe. Weissmann played a key role in putting together the government’s case against Paul Manafort, President Donald Trump’s former campaign chairman.
