Surveillance video obtained via a public records request appears to show former President Bill Clinton's alleged meeting in June with Attorney General Loretta Lynch as the Justice Department was finishing its investigation into former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's private emails, ABC News reported Thursday.
Authorities would not confirm the identities of the people or the plane in the video, but the Secret Service referred ABC News to Bill Clinton's staff, which has not responded to a request for comment.
Both Bill Clinton and Lynch called the meeting at Phoenix's Sky Harbor airport a chance encounter in which they only discussed personal matters like his golf game, according to reports, but this video, if validated, might suggest otherwise.
Lynch and the former president have said the email investigation was not discussed during the 20-minute conversation that was "primary social," Lynch told ABC News.
Donald Trump is among the skeptics.
"Just something that you don't do from an ethical standpoint," Trump told ABC News' Tom Llamas. "It's something that is unheard of."
